Thanks for the informaton. i wasnt sure why south west cues were so expensive .... similar to hercek cues
I've been on the waiting list for 6-8 years and called them recently and was told I'm still about 4 years out I have been on here in several years but when I used to frequent AZ Billiards daily they where selling spots on the waiting list for good money I was told they are very good playing cues also

Id say you are further out than that. Closer to 10 more years than 4 for you I would say. Mine is being built as we speak. I ordered in Feb of 2006.

Dam I'll be retired when I get it on the bright side I'll have plenty of time to play 🤣
I ordered my Southwest in September’ 2013. Checked in with Laurie 3 years ago, she said 2026 so I’m down to the home stretch, 5 more years! Basically, that’s the only reason I don’t shoot straight, just don’t have my Southwest yet... 🤷‍♂️ 😂

I just went back and did the math I ordered in 2012 so I'm at 9 years I didn't realize it had been that long

They play exceptionally well. One of the finest cues I've ever had the chance to play with and the craftmanship is as close to perfect as I've ever seen. Yes, the price range is steep but that aspect is driven by supply and demand. The fact that people are willing to wait 15 years to get a new one says it all. Personally, they're out of my price range but I'm thankful to own a Leonard Bludworth that plays fantastic. We are also in a current economic situation where people are nervous about letting go of larger amounts of money. It's most likely the main reason this cue hasn't sold already.

Now your thinking right. Sure you can wait 10 years and pay probably 5K for one of these from SW. Or you can pay reletively little and chances are be happier than if you waited 10 years! And in 10 years the price new might be double what Vass is asking. Also he has been an honest no problems no worries seller for decades.
Beautiful SW.
Win Win,
Nick :)
