Climate Change is really Stupid Mongering

Scientists and Engineers can figure out how to cure diseases, prolong life and even travel to the Moon.

A lot of money is trying to sell me that people can't figure out how to clean pollution and climate change.

Climate change is happening. Can it be stopped or reversed? Why don't all the haters find out?

Discoveries in science are made daily. Despite what the forecasts for climate change estimate, it doesn't take into account human intelligence.

People can figure things out, if you just let them try.
Telling people that pollution can't be fixed, is like saying a cure for cancer will never exist. Its possible. Everyone is just waiting for that one person to break the problem up in to pieces that can be solved.

Climate change is a threat. People are address that threat in multiple ways. Using science to fix it, is never mentioned in the climate change arguments. I am betting on the future.

The Climate has always, is now, & always will change.

Such is NOT a threat.

It is being made into a FLASE threat.

That does not mean that we should not try to not pollute anything.

It also means that we should not sell our souls to try to fix a problem that does NOT exist.

NONE, NOT ONE, of the prediction brought out by AL Gore came true when they were supposed to happen. Hence the name change from Global Warming to Climate Change.

It is ALL about MONEY, A certain group Making a Ton of MONEY. They want & NEED it legislated because they can not compete in the Free Open Marketplace

There is another thread & Dan White showed rather well that it is BS.

Best Wishes.

PS we are currently in a 20 years cooling off period.

Yes, it sure is "stupid mongering".

How else are they going to create a crisis, and then tax the crisis.

What should be done is that the government should create a 'Stupid Tax'.

The budget would be balanced immediately.

Can the Hypesters make money on Cooling?

NASA Sees Climate Cooling Trend Thanks to Low Sun Activity

NASA Sees Climate Cooling Trend Thanks to Low Sun Activity

The climate alarmists just can’t catch a break. NASA is reporting that the sun is entering one of the deepest Solar Minima of the Space Age; and Earth’s atmosphere is responding in kind.

So, start pumping out that CO2, everyone. We’re going to need all the greenhouse gases we can get.

“We see a cooling trend,” said Martin Mlynczak of NASA’s Langley Research Center. “High above Earth’s surface, near the edge of space, our atmosphere is losing heat energy. If current trends continue, it could soon set a Space Age record for cold.”

The new data is coming from NASA’s Sounding of the Atmosphere using Broadband Emission Radiometry or SABER instrument, which is onboard the space agency’s Thermosphere Ionosphere Mesosphere Energetics and Dynamics (TIMED) satellite. SABER monitors infrared radiation from carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitric oxide (NO), two substances that play a vital role in the energy output of our thermosphere, the very top level of our atmosphere.

“The thermosphere always cools off during Solar Minimum. It’s one of the most important ways the solar cycle affects our planet,” said Mlynczak, who is the associate principal investigator for SABER....

Not this old misrepresented lie again? The troposphere will be 'cooling' to about 800 degrees C. There is no heat transfer convection to the lower atmosphere, because if there were, five miles up where airliners fly wouldn't be around 0 degrees C. or less all the time (including in solar maximum periods). And the new 'super low' 800 degrees C is still a huge amount of heat that would warm the lower atmosphere (if that were possible, but it isn't).

What's that smell? Oh, it's Sofla's keyboard starting to smoke while he furiously searches Wikipedia for a way to discount this report.

Why bother? I ran to the Net to refute everything the climate change deniers were saying on another thread. Easily found plenty. Got a few tepid responses and then you guys ran away from that thread to start denying on this one as if that one didn't exist.
Again, why bother? Closed minds. MUST DEFEND RIGHT WING AGENDA!
Never again. Believe what you will.

Sounds like you need some carbon taxes......all the hot air that comes from you from either end justifies it.

I wrote it from memory from looking at the actual NASA report and various actual science articles about its effect on the troposphere temperatures months ago, actually.

I am not discounting the actual report at all. I am disputing the brain dead false claims of what it meant that rocketed around the rw noise machine.

The Russian scientist who first claimed an extended grand solar minimum would cool the earth badly missed his first predicted cooling timeframe, didn't mention his failure even to alibi it, and now says it will only show up as of 2050, iirc. (I provided this citation here a week or so ago.)

Although the tropospheric cooling is going on right now. I have not seen any report if it hit the record for a recorded 'low' temperature as it was looking could happen, but if not, it is close to it. Feel the chill? It's 40 degrees above 'normal' in Greenland now, and 40% of its surface is now melting, which is far earlier than ever recorded before.

Which thread was that?

Also, you've shown zero interest in questioning whether some of the key science is actually any good. You just copy and paste "position statements" from the boards of directors from various agencies and institutions and seem to think that is some kind of proof of anything. When I take a position on something I always question myself from time to time and try to understand what the "other side" is saying and where they're coming from. It's actually how I found the site that audits climate research independently from any funding.

Your use of the word "denier" is offensive and the only reason I can imagine that you continue to use it is for emotional support. If you can't win an argument based on logic and evidence then you have to rely on a coping mechanism, like lashing out at people who challenge your cherished political views. It is a sign of weakness.

justnum 06-18-2019 06:58 PM

The most offensive statement about climate change is:

Carbon emissions are impacting the climate
But if carbon emissions stop right now, everything goes back to the way it was.

The logic resembles unprotected sex. You can do it but the more you do the higher the risk for catching a disease or pregnancy.

However there is a huge industry that makes money off of people that have unprotected sex. The range of solutions for unwanted pregnancies vary from condoms all the way to abortions. As for STDs well there are lots of treatments that reduce symptoms or bring measures to not viral levels.

Are carbon emissions more like an STD or more like an unwanted pregnancy?
In either case the damage has been done. But if solutions exist to revert back to a previous state, then its no harm no foul.

Instead of worry about emissions, use the emissions as a resource. People recycle paper, glass, electronics.

Is there no way to monetize recycled carbon emissions? The fear that carbon emissions are forever trapped in the atmosphere is plain stupid.

Has anyone actually tried to take them out of the atmosphere? Solving that problem would begin a new era of science and that would be terraforming other planets.

He does the same on the 'religious' front. Then he mocks others & pats himself on the back.
