Masse cue
Does anyone have specifications to build a masse cue. A friend of mine builds cues and I would like him to build me a masse cue. He said sure if you get me some specs. Any help would be appreciated.

Masse cues are like Jump cues and Break cues. Are specialised, and you need to know what it is about a particular cue that you like. Then you can get one made to suite you.
In reality, if someone already makes a Masse cue that you like, buy that one until you know what you really want in a Masse cue. Otherwise you are wasting every one's time and money.
There will be carbon Masse cues soon too, just to mess with what you may or may not like. A masse cue does not have to have a high tip endmass to be effective either.

Most masse cues are short (42 inches +/-) heavy (20 to 25 oz), stiff conical shaft and 14 mm medium hard tip.

Short and stiff shafts, mine are 24" hornbeam, .300" LBM capped ferrule, stiff taper.
24" butt, normal dimensions, but cored with Jatoba, so very stiff and a bit heavier than a normal playing cue. 3/8-10 Modified brass pin.
