Gomez vs Compton one hole

I'm looking forward to some good one pocket this weekend by these two but I'm not really too familiar with either guy. Who's favoured in this one? With Double J doing the commentary it should be a good few nights. A little snapper and grouper fishing during the day some one pocket at night. It's shaping up to be a good weekend.

Compton is known as a one pocket specialist.

Gomez is known as a 9/10 ball specialist, who just took up one pocket about 1 year ago.

-but- Gomez is Filipino, so he's probably the favorite, IMO:)

Gomez, who has come 5th and 3rd in the last two Derby City 1-pocket events, is a superb one-pocket player and is the favorite in this spot.

Pretty strong for a nine ball specialist. Dang

In the past 10 months, Gomez has victories over Evan Lunda and Josh Roberts in action matches (both were races to 24). Both times Roberto came from behind late to win.

Wasn't Gomez up on Bergman in an 8 ball match? I didn't watch it but was talking about it at the room today. Or was that Morra?

In their recent 8 ball match, Gomez lead Bergman 21-11 at one point. Bergman went on a huge run to lead 35-29 after the first night of play.
