The following link shows a list of the largest trading partners of the United States

If you look closely, you will see that Turkey isn't anywhere on the list.

If you look at the list of our Top Trading Partners (below), you will see that they aren't mentioned there either.

America's Other Top Trading Partners
Rounding out the list of America’s top trading partners in terms of U.S. export sales, the following ten countries ranked highest in 2017.

Canada: US$282.5 billion (18.3% of total US exports)
Mexico: $243 billion (15.7%)
China: $130.4 billion (8.4%)
Japan: $67.7 billion (4.4%)
United Kingdom: $56.3 billion (3.6%)
Germany: $53.5 billion (3.5%)
South Korea: $48.3 billion (3.1%)
Netherlands: $42.2 billion (2.7%)
Hong Kong: $40 billion (2.6%)
Brazil: $37.1 billion (2.4%)
France: $34.2 billion (2.2%)
Belgium: $29.9 billion (1.9%)
Singapore: $29.8 billion (1.9%)
Taiwan: $25.8 billion (1.7%)
India: $25.7 billion (1.7%)
Almost three-quarters (74.1 percent) of American exports in 2017 were delivered to the above 15 trade partners.

Turkey is becoming the next "Islamic" state with Erdogan in power.

Other than "proximity" to the Middle East and Russia, they have nothing that we "need". As far as "proximity" goes, we have other countries that are more friendly to us that will suffice just as well.

Trump needs to pull out of Turkey and NATO needs to expel them.

The only reason we were there in the first place was because of the Cold War and we were trying to "surround" or "contain" Russia.
