Dave, I'm not understanding something correctly I guess. I have 4 1/8" at the points. 2" back (rails are 1 13/16" thick) they are 3 1/2". Measured the angle a number of times, and I get 145 degrees....

Off hand, without any real data to back it up, I'd have to say no. I don't feel it's really any easier than a regular 9' for the most part. Some things are a little easier, some things are harder....
