Only on self aligning pins which I like :) the accuracy of that shoulder determines more than the bottom threads. In my opinion :) of course.

I use a 17/64 carbide three fluted bit and then I heat my epoxy a bit..no complains and I don't have to leave it on the lathe while drying. :)

The butt collar and the shaft collar size have to be relatively close for the cue to roll somewhat straight.

Mandrel

You can add CA without using the mandrel, check your tolerances until close then install mandrel and sand. Takes a little longer. Clean your edges before installing mandrel. :)

Better indicate that shaft before proceeding. Just wait until you deal with shatter or trying to cut too much at one time. Like most things, complicated in their simplicity :)

Yes, it's all possible but would it give you the feel you want...not sure. Perhaps selecting a softer, on the thick side, leather, might. You have to think about how the changes will affect the wrap...

If you use Cyano best way I found is to use two fans blowing away from me and running the vacuum system underneath the cue and exhausting to the outside. I also run my room air filter. Plus a mask...

All epoxies are not created equal. Not knowing your procedure is hard to recommend ways of avoiding whatever you dislike. Preparation is king when it comes to finishing no matter what you are using....

Thank you for sharing. I use both methods of putting together ringwork depending on the complexity of the ring pack. It's easy to build jigs to do it separately.
