OB and McDermott 3/8x10 joints not interchangeable?

Greetings all. I just bought OB and McDermott cues, both with 3/8x10 joints. In the past I was able to put a G-Core shaft on an OB butt and vice versa, but these new shafts are definitely not...

I was right where you are 2 years ago. I had just started to play and as I got better I was encouraged by friends to join the APA. I did and I love it! My league nights are sacred; the most fun I've...

I agree that any decent inexpensive cue can allow a skilled player to play extremely well, and that custom cues can be over-priced vanity items. I also think "basic bar cue as long as the tip is...

You have no idea what you're talking about. Gold Crown are great tables but if you look at the construction of the lower priced, recently manufactured Brunswicks (have you done that? I didn't think...

Thanks for the needlessly negative and ignorant comment. No concept of value or price point. Apples and oranges (or do you understand what that means?) Gold Crown is a great table for $thousands...

BTW...I was just shopping for my first home table myself. I'm able to spend a little more than your target price so I got an upper level Connelly, but there's a website that is, by far, the most...

As usual, you don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about. It never ceases to amaze me how uninformed people seem, often, to hold the strongest opinions and are the most free about...

Get the Olhausen. Older Brunswicks were OK but their lower-price lines these days aren't worth much. If you can pay the extra $800 get the Olhausen.
And isn't it frustrating when you ask a simple...

Calling Rtoron's post a rant is ridiculous. He's merely stating his point of view in a reasonable way. It's OK to disagree and if you do feel free to state your opposing points. I tend to agree with...

Pechauer P+Pro LD shaft

I've played Pechauer for awhile now and after playing with McDermott, Lucasi, OB, Joss, Meucci and others Pechauer is my cue of choice. I prefer the JP to the Pro series, as they have a slightly...

Custom stained Pechauer cue, photos attached

I just received my custom stained cue and it's beautiful. I added the Pro+ shaft and will post a separate review after I play with it. I'm officially a Pechauer guy.

Kudos to Pechauer and Seybert's

I own a Pechauer JP-09N (now the JP-07Q). It's a great stick and my favorite over McDermott, Lucasi, or OB's I've owned and several others I've tried. I originally bought it because it was Pechauer's...

Do you feel compelled to spend $700? Why? All the brands you mention start well below that, and their low-end cues play exactly like their $1000 cues, the only difference being the number in inlays...
