In the 70s no jump cue or special equipment. 13 racks opponent makes 1 or 2 and misses....then 9 more racks.

22 out of 23

Is running 22 out of 23 racks possible? Run a pack then miss one...opponent misses and player A runs out the rest. Heard a story once about it happening on a bar table.

Since you are cleaning to protect from the virus, you should be wiping it down with alcohol after every shot. This is because your bridge hand touches the table and the table is the common touch...

Snooker cues

Been watching snooker for the past couple days. Can some tell these clueless people that they would shoot way better if they loss the brass ferrules and switched to a Revo? I'm joking of course.

I thought about a jump cue but what made me think harder was the balance. The shorter lighter butt on a break cue would shi ft the balance point back whereas a shortened shaft would keep it heavier...

Not sure

Based off of experiences by everyone that commented, it seems that you should only buy cues from a place with a similar climate as the one you live in to avoid humidity changes. To me, that doesn't...

I'm not a cue maker but couldn't you complete the butt, screw the shaft to it without the shaft ring glued, align and mark the ring, then glue up the shaft and bring it down to diameter?
