Yes, I've owned a few cues with real ringtail in the past. The reasons I'm asking about the embossed option are #1 difficulty in sourcing back cut ringtail at a reasonable cost, and #2 restrictions...

Right. Maybe cowhide wasn't the correct name to use. I meant a leather wrap similar to those embossed/coloured like the python which you have on your website Chris.

I usually don't like butterfly cues. But this one is exceptional. Very very nice cue. Looks like a lot of work went in to building it.

That cue is gorgeous. I had a cue from Chad many years ago... it had the smoothest slickest shaft I've ever owned and it played so well. I still regret selling that cue to this day :(
