Mezz for production cue. Other brand you can have 10 cues all play different.

I would invest in custom, DZ, Josey, Wes Hunter, Lomax, Bob Fray, Jensen cant go wrong.

DZ makes good cues, I had one and 2 of my friends ordered from him once they played with mine.

Josey also one of the best, I just got another cue from him.

Make sure you ask for hand selected...

I would not buy any production cue except Mezz. It plays in a range of a good custom cue and holds its value best.

Or get a custom sneaky pete lets say from DZ cues, it will last forever and you...

I was experimenting with loose grip, it helps but thats not it. The closest I come up with was an old 1 piece bar cue that had drilled (empty) inside of the butt and was very light.

Get Josey and make sure you get it with Timeless Timber shaft and pay extra for hand picket piece. Also consider Mezz.
