I had McDermott refinish my D-17 and match an I2 shaft and it came back looking brand new. The turn around was really good too like 2-3 weeks.

I sent my McDermott stinger break cue back...

I sent my McDermott stinger break cue back because there was a warp(the tip did not leave the table). They sent me a new shaft about 4.5 weeks later. I am very happy with McDermott.

My wife is 5ft even and plays with a 20oz. I think it is too heavy (but I play with a 18.5oz cue) Best bet is to have her hit with different weight cues and she will find out what she is comfortable...
