I agree with Ian. My 9' table is in an 18'x18' "two" car garage. I have a very nice weighted/balanced short cue for the rare instances when it is needed. You'd be surprised how little it is...

I stand corrected. Steve was just here doing some work on my Gold Crown and he said he cut the pockets on my old table at 139*. He said 141* is good for 4.25" but too wide for anything smaller.

My home table had 4" at 141* and it didn't rattle balls down the rail. The GC1 I'm restoring will have 4.125" at 141*.

I agree. My old table (4") was cut at 141 degrees and played great; accepted balls that should drop and spit balls out that weren't hit well. It certainly wasn't a rattle machine like Olhausens. ...
