Thin SuperGlue will penetrate the wood threads strengthening them against wear ... but you need to re-tap them to clean them up.
A bit of candle wax on the joint pin will help reduce thread wear...

You can try super glue (med) and accelerator (if needed) to fill the dent in but it is hard to get a color match so it is totally invisible. You cant feel it but you still might see it.
