And one more Schmelke with Kielwood and Curly Maple

I tried a lot of the CF shafts. I liked the Jacoby Black's taper and the Pechauer Rouge's hit but I didn't really love anything CF. Obviously a personal preference. My current shooter is a newsheriff cue with 2 kielwood shafts. I bought it to put in my display because I liked my Schmelke ebony...

    Sold Skulls.....Bullets.....BloodWood..........F/S...F/T........

Just picked this one up and im glad i kept coming back to it. First off, great seller! As for the cue, good pics but so much nicer in person. It feels great and moves the cue ball around with ease. To sum it up, I love it!

One more? Bocote and Curly Kielwood

This one looks amazing in person. Nice, simple and classy ringwork....for me, it's normally let the wood do the talking so ringwork has to hit me right or else, skip it.

Another nice set from my friends at Schmelke

If you choose the right woods and have the build fit those woods, you wont need a metal joint and probably wont need a weight bolt. I personally hate a metal joint and if a cue might be coming in a little heavy, I have them put a G-10 pin in to keep the weight down. Keep in mind that ebony will...

Another nice set from my friends at Schmelke

I try to not do that any more :) I started the SneakiestPete cues (now sold by Koinnkid here on Az) and also Summit cues. Working full time with a long commute, leagues, tourneys and life in general. It was just too much. I'll flip a cue from time to time but now it's mainly having Schmelke...

And one more Schmelke with Kielwood and Curly Maple

This one turned out great! I like a 29 inch butt and a 30 inch shaft with a long, almost straight taper between 17-19 inches. Another one that the rules were, keep it simple and let the wood do the talking

Another nice set from my friends at Schmelke

I ditched carbon shooting shafts for the Kielwood. I do really like the carbon break and jump shafts. Everybody has their own preference. I have no plans on going back to a carbon shooter but others would probably never go back to wood. I went with an ebony forearm to push some weight forward on...

Another nice set from my friends at Schmelke

Keep it simple with a little tweak and some sweet woods. Goncolo and Ebony on both cues. 2 Kielwood shafts for the shooter and a Ricochet carbon break shaft for the Break/Jump

    Schmelke Kielwood shafts

I like a 59 inch cue. My cue butt is 29 inches. I didnt know they run light and my scale needs a battery or I would weigh these. No matter, they have an amazing hit (with the understanding that "hit" is a personal thing) and I cant describe how smooth the shafts are....no glove needed coming...

    Schmelke Kielwood shafts

I thought "flavor of the month" but man.....they hit so much better than CF in my opinion

    Schmelke Kielwood shafts

Just sharing for those who may want to try a Kielwood shaft without sticker shock. I had David at Schmelke build me two kielwood 30 inch Radial shafts with a long taper like the Jacoby Black has and 3/8 inch ferrules. They did so at a 12.4mm tip diameter. The shafts came out great and i...

    Decola or Dicola or both?

Nothing....now i don't feel quite as "cue maker identity" challenged. The reason I posted this is because someone had this Dicola cue for sale on Facebook. Segmented burl with an ivory buttcap, joint and ferrules on the two shafts. The finish has a couple of cracks but according to the seller...

    Decola or Dicola or both?

Forgive my ignorance here, I've seen both Decola and Dicola cues listed for sale. Are we talking two different cue makers or is it simply a spelling issue?
