I will be visiting the Lowell/Salem/Boston area first ten days of July...then a week in central Vermont.

I read Bob Campbell's book...Do It For The Game...it reminded me of the old days back in New England...(a la WONDERBOYS if you don't mind my inability to not throw out a shameless plug)...anyway we were in slightly different areas but there were real similarities in the flavor of the location...

Anyone remember him??...He was a pretty good New England champ back in the 60's and 70's...Boy do I miss Johnny Marco...he had a good following and we often played in front of railbirds...Johnny would tell them 'watch how good he is on these long straight shots'...and he would tell the fans that...
I remember the Miz from the times when I was playing the Florida Tour. I've mentioned here that watching Willie Mosconi seemed like a glimpse of heaven...and watching Steve Mizerak was right up there.
