I found kozoom on YouTube a week ago. Great stuff on there and the animated diagrams they create after some shots is great.

I got a Players when I started. Worked very well for me. Then upgraded to another brand with carbon fiber. I also still have a Players break/Jump stick as well. A good value. Both sticks were under $100/ea so great value for starting out IMHO.

Yeah plus the black fibers end up all over the balls. This was on the table when I bought it in June. It's a nap cloth so I do not expect to see the same problem with Simonis!

I did't get the "Standard Book of Pool and Billiards". Will get it next month for my birthday, or so Im told. lol I have other books to read until then.

None of the videos that I have found are for absolute beginners, that I can tell. They do not tell you what to do and why. How to start. They are usually a great collection of angles and reference lines. Which are going to be important at some point but I need to start at square one.
