Very true. When a fast player runs out on you, it looks like it was easy -which can be intimidating. When a slow player runs out on me, I get angry that I just waited 10 minutes for them to struggle to clear the table. imo

I moved to TN, from AZ at the end of last year. I have played maybe 150-200 games since coming here. My Fargo has stayed the same for 6 months (up a point, down a point...). I took 1st or 2nd in at least 4 tournaments that did not go into FR however. Maybe I'd be a couple points higher, not sure.

"Tried the milk duds..." Which ones? There are dozens and dozens of duds that use different tips, soaks, and presses. If you want a hobby, that's great. If you just want good tips, I suggest trying a few different makers and find what you like. I designed my own press and planned to machine one...

Tips play more differently than tables do. I hit soft shots on the big tables too. I hit stroke shots in the little tables now and then as well. Best learn to adjust your pace. I hate using low english with an unfamiliar tip. I cannot gauge the speed and therefore shape.

Agreed. In the pic provided, it looks like the fans are pretty far from the table and not elevated at all. If that's the case, they fans are in the room but not watching the match very easily. It could just be the camera angle creating that impression I suppose.
