FSR v Anton Raga, Orcollo (8-15 June) and Gorst v Mocaibat, Banares, Biado (7-17 June)

Yeah, weird they shut down the YouTube stream. But, it was unwatchable anyway. That Mocaibat is the real deal. He crushed Chang, and now beat Fedor. Yes, maybe Chang didn't play his best, but no one is beating two world beaters in super long races unless he too is a world beater.

    New rubber.

You never mentioned what table you have. That would affect what cushion fits. Especially if you’ve had playability issues. I’m not a mechanic, but I’m sure one here will know what’s compatible with your table.

    ARAMITH 100 NEW BALL SET

I like it a lot! Reminds me of the Tungsten set I got for $65 delivered, which is my favorite set.

    New rubber.

I have a GC4 with the OEM cushions. It has 860 on it. My main poolroom growing up for 20 years was always GC’s with 760.

    New rubber.

You'll love 760 IMO. It was the standard for 20 years. Some rooms still have it. I'll probably do it on my next recover.

My top 5 would be Filler, Shane, Chang, Wu, Ko Pin Yi. Edit, I guess I'd have to include Gorst and Kaci. But I think all 7 are a toss up and ahead of the rest of the pack.

    WWYD 9 Ball

Ha ha:) I first saw Busty play this shot in a match maybe 20 years ago, I think he was partners with Efren on a doubles match. It's on youtube somewhere. It comes in super handy when you are too close to the rail and can't jack up.

2023 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

I played another set today, lost 5-7.

    WWYD 9 Ball

I played this shot as shown. It was laying perfect for it. I was half messing around, at the end of a ghost set I had just lost, and was just banging the rest of the balls in. Unsure if I would have played it this way in a game. How would you have played it?

I wonder what will happen to these Diamond tables in Europe. Do any of the mechanics there know the Cobra's way of gluing the cloth to the edge of the slate? They might be completely lost since there is no wood strip for staples under the slate.

It's so funny that MR is about completely ignoring any non MR titles. Karl and JJ must be rolling their eyes every time Phil says if Kaci wins this would be the biggest title of his career.

Kaci up 2-1. I think he will win also. Filler missed an easy shot already. Kaci has been perfect.

Do we know how MR classifies "long pot success"? Do we know how they classify "safety errors"? I believe Accu-Stats goes by "harder than a spot shot" for the first, and for the second, if the player wins the rack on the inning after the opponent safety. (or maybe makes the next ball?)

Does anyone know what the numbers in parentheses mean next to the player's names? I know they are some sort of ranking, but it doesn't seem to line up with anything. For example, Filler has #1 next to his name, but FSR is #1 on the MR ratings and Filler is #3 according to MR's website.

Is SJM in the crowd? I saw someone that looked a bit like him yesterday and today. But it was a brief second so uncertain.
