I've only seen Eddie's vids on YT where he's pretty impressed with them at that low price range. Been tempted to get one to see if I like smaller tip sizes. Hope we get some feedback - for the price they seem hard to beat. Any other cheap true LD shafts out there?

I've talked to the guy, Matt, on FB, he's super helpful and responsive. On that note I've almost bought one, but I haven't decided what tip size to get. He's on his second gen of the XLR8 shaft. The earlier ones were foam filled, now they're lined with a damping material, and from the low budget...

Tell us about how it hits? What's the sound like? Deflection, if you got a way of measuring it? What tip size did you get? How is the finish texture and how is it holding up? Has the matte finish turned glossy where you contact it a lot? I guess that's gonna happen no matter what, right?
