    Table Cameras

Well there goes my suggestion. 😂 I just use my phone. I’m with you on the mounted cam though. I may do that soon myself.

2021 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

After. This was yesterday. Just had a bad day, it happens. I was so frustrated and mad at my play by the time I played that 9-ball set I was running out of patience and it showed. Not the best look for me, but sometimes things just aren’t working and it gets really frustrating.

2021 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

First set of the day. Lost 2-7 to the 10 ball ghost. Y’all might have to mute the audio. My music isn’t for everyone, lol. I haven’t watched the set yet, but I didn’t feel too bad about my play. I felt like I played ok, but got flat on some shots and missed some balls I should make.

My 3 Day Bootcamp With Tin Man

I did. You’re going to have a lot of fun and come out seeing table layouts and patterns differently forever. You can’t help it.

2021 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

I hadn’t played any sets against the ghost in a long time, so I thought I’d get some in today. Played bad. Lost a bunch of sets against the 10 ball ghost 0-7 to 3-7. Switched to 9 ball and it was closer, but I still lost a couple of sets before squeaking out a 7-6 win, thanks to a couple of...

My 3 Day Bootcamp With Tin Man

Hey all! I just wanted to write a quick review of Demetrius’ bootcamp. I just finished up the three day bootcamp and had a blast. As advertised, it’s long hours of hard training. You get up early and train hard late into the night. Time flies when you’re having fun though and the long hours flew...

2021 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

Good shooting. I always feel like good players make the table look smaller than it is. Maybe it’s better pattern play and cue ball that leads to easier shots, making the table seem smaller/easier.

    Beat my draw!

Rafael Martinez showed me that stroke on a pool table years ago when I lived in Texas. I never did put in the work to master it, but it was really impressive. Not the same shot he used to show me, but this is the stroke.

    Beat my draw!

Just went to the pool room...managed to coax a little more out of the shot on the Diamond, but not much. I did get 4 rails on both shots though.

    Beat my draw!

Messed with both shots a little more and I think I’m at the limit of what my stroke will allow. I tried a lighter (red circle) cue ball and tried both shots with freshly polished balls. My results were actually worse, lol. I think, with my stroke, I would need ideal conditions to get the 4th...

    Beat my draw!

The first shot in the video was actually my first attempt at the second shot. I surprised myself, then hit the ball full in the face a few times, lol. There is definitely an adjustment to make, hitting the shot that hard with so much low and side. I play with an old Verl Horn and OB Classic...

    Beat my draw!

Thought I’d try again after I got off work this morning. I tried moving the shot up a diamond, but it didn’t help. The cue ball just seems to die off the head rail on my table. I tried with lots of side, then hardly any. I tried your other shot too. I didn’t spend too much time on them, but...

    Beat my draw!

Just saw this. 🤦‍♂️ Pretty much exactly what I wrote above. You beat me to it.

    Beat my draw!

I was thinking about this. I think I might be able to get to the 4th rail if I moved the whole shot forward a diamond. It seems like having the cue ball so close to the head rail limits the amount of speed you can generate before contacting the first rail. If the cue ball is still picking up...

    Beat my draw!

Larry probably gets 5 rails on this shot, lol.

    Beat my draw!

Best attempt. Shot about 15 balls and decided I better quit before I wake my wife up, lol. I don’t think it’s possible to get back to the center of the table four rails on my table with 5 year old cloth. My cushions aren’t super responsive either. Maybe someone with a better stroke than I have...

    Fargo rating

For anyone wanting more info, here is an interview from the Pool Player Podcast with Mike Page and Steve Ernst. Great interview and I learned a lot. They go into pretty good detail on how the system works and how all the ratings around the world are connected.

    YOUR CUES

I’ve owned...Predator, Viking, Joss, Joss West, Olivier, Schon, Players, Cue Tech, Mike Betts, Josey, Frey, Huebler, Jensen, Shagrat, Petree, Gilbert, Verl Horn, S&S...I’m sure I’m forgetting some. I’ve owned a LOT of cues. I regret selling my Huebler the most. Loved that cue and sold it at a...

    Gold Crown IV?

Thanks for the replies! I never considered that someone might’ve cut holes for counters. That’s interesting. I guess they would have more of a need for them in that area, due to 14.1 being played a lot around there.

    Gold Crown IV?

What table is this??? It looks like a GC4, with the GC4 pocket castings and flush mount pocket inserts. But it has counters on the foot rail. I thought the score counters were deleted on the 4. A quick google search wasn’t much help.
