Understood, but I'm addressing the claim that he dogs it under pressure. From what I've seen of him in Mosconi Cup play, he appeared to handle the pressure just fine. I actually thought he stood out as particularly solid in that department and has come with some big shots in big moments.

Admittedly, I haven't watched or memorized every moment of every MC, but I always thought Bergman held up quite well.

It's BS to punish athletes for the actions of their government. Once you make a stand for one perceived atrocity, you'll have to do it for another. Watch, it will be another country next year, then three more the following year, then it will get to the point where nobody can play.
