Anyone have experience with the customcuelathes cue building lathe 2 and the hightower cuesmith deluxe? If so, pros/cons? Recommendations? Looking to spend between $3000 and $4000 on more specialized equipment.

Normal x-y CNC lathe with NC spindle. I know it can be done but would be less precise maybe. More elaborate g-code. Just wondering if anyone had tried it?

Hey tom have you or anyone else used a hard or hh as a break tip? Or have u thought about a break tip along the lines of a samsara?

Ive played with both light cues eg. 16 oz and heavy cues eg 22 oz. Found them both to feel weird for a while. Think a heavier cue shoots better though. Once you train yourself to it. More rear weighted takes more energy to overcome inertia side to side.

Ever seen a new car with 0.0 miles on it? Absolutely hit with each and every one. Even if it was a five figure rack queen that the customer would never actually shoot with, if it were me I would still crack a few before it left. Not that I could build a five figure rack queen. :-)
