I have a number of custom cues, most with Radial Pin joints. Cues are at least 10 years old. Most of the cues are getting quite hard to screw together, as the radial pin joints are getting quite tight and are becoming difficult to tighten completely. Any thoughts on how to fix this issue...

The Joint pin is 5/16" x 18 (See photos). The balance point is 19 1/2" from the butt end of the cue with the shaft installed.
