I had an OB1 shaft made for a Richard Black Bushka cue without sending off the Butt. Shaft came back with the stainless joint a slightly larger diameter than the joint on the butt. I have a cue lathe etc but don't know how or even whether I could reduce the diameter of the shaft joint to fit...

Anybody have an opinion on Gilbert and/or Stacy cue squirt. I realize this will depend to some extent on custom features of the shaft, but my question is more general than that, say, for example, buying one used or off the shelf.
