Thanks for the kind words! We really enjoy making these vids, almost as much as we enjoy playing pool. They were never meant to be boastful, rather merely a celebration of our favorite way to pass the time.
Jay - you're absolutely right, most of us wouldn't win a single match at the DCC...
I once watched Bill Braskey break and run 17 racks of rotation, in under 60 seconds total. He also killed a grizzly bear with his bare hands while running these racks. Amazing!
The Aramith super crystallate balls ARE made of phenolic resin. All I could infer from ball sets marked as "super crystallate" is that they have more intense color that other balls.
Actually, we raised almost all the gas/hotel money from donations from friends. We ended up averaging 22 mpg in a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 178K miles. Not bad for the old girl!
Mike and I drove 14 hours down to Tallahassee on friday. The drive was good and relaxing. The only real downside was probably the hotel we stayed at, the Collegiate Village Inn in Tallahassee. It was a bit run-down, and our AC didnt work in the first room. So, we asked for a second room, and the...

Dallas is closer to us (central Illinois), but only by about an hour. I suppose either location is just fine.
As his family is pretty much broke, I would be asking for small gas money donations from friends and driving him to whichever location.
This post is not to ask for a free entry for myself, but rather for a good friend of mine who cannot otherwise afford to enter this tournament. His name is Mike.

Mike had a terrible childhood in an even worse town. His parents were separated early on, and he moved back and forth between...
Thanks! Yeah, I needed to use a Tool track for a video, since I hadn't yet. I had narrowed it down to "Lateralus" or "Stinkfist", since both have a quiet-ish intro section that then blasts in full-force. I love it!
