Pro Pool Player & Pro Golfer

Dave Bollman was an All Navy golfer while in the service. Turned pro and played against the likes of Byron Nelson, Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead and others. Was also a top level pro pool player winning several big tourneys such as the McDermott One Pocket and 9 Ball tournaments. Was a pretty high...

    3 cushion questions

I watched Deluna play this with a local Filipino player at Q Masters during the International Open last year. Looked fun and they were having a good time. Was on 9ft Diamond. Would be interesting to try on 3C table tho.

    Dick Grabs- $100k

I watched all of the matches and Dick didn't play very well in the first stages. But he managed to eek out wins nonetheless. Congrats to him. There was some really stellar play from a lot of different players. Nice to see team play and doubles too.

    3C near Colorado Springs CO

I will be going to Colorado Springs CO in May. Would like to play some 3C billiards while I'm there. Will be the first time for me visiting CO. Are there any places to play near Colorado Springs? I've managed to find a room or private residence everywhere I've traveled so far and have met a...

Running a tournament with one table

Thanks Bob for the info. Some people have been asking me to put a tourney together for a little bit now. I was hesitant for a long time until the room owner got our 1 table fixed and in playable condition. I don't know how many players I will get but figured I would ask the question here and...

Running a tournament with one table

I've been in and out of town on travel since early December. I got a chance to play at the Elks Lodge in Tacoma and also watch a regional tourney there. Thanks to Bob Jewett for hooking me up with Ron Kilby and making some connections. If you ever get a chance to go, you should. There are...

Running a tournament with one table

Thanks. And thank you for posting in this section and keeping it alive. Let me know when you get your new set of balls. I love mine. You will too ;) And if I'm ever in the Houston area, I'll hit you up beforehand and we will play some. Same if you come out to VA.

Running a tournament with one table

Pretty much the title says it all. Looking for help on how to accomplish this. Since we only have one table (thankful for that btw), I know having tournaments will help grow the game in our area and introduce more people to the game. Thank you all for your assistance in this matter. Mike

    Saluc Aramith Prestige Caroms Set

After years of telling my friends that Saluc should make a red ball with spots, I find out that you have been working with Saluc about the spotted red ball. I just received my new set. And I can definitely tell you all that it makes a difference. Especially to us older guys that have trouble...

Pin Yi Ko - The Best ?

I agree...kinda sorta. I don't think he's "the best" but considered "one of the best". There are alot of great pool players right now. I would consider Darren and Shane better than him right now. That's just my $.02. But I have to ask......what does the statement above have anything to do...

    Earl's sword

I wasn't questioning whether he is more knowledgeable or better at the game than the rest of us. I KNOW HE IS. I just wondered if anyone out there knew, first hand, what he's got going on with his cue. I know someone out there knows. If not, I'll just ask him myself when I see him. Thanks...

    alex pagulayan pool cue

Looks like he has several. I know he had the smaller Ultimate Rugged with him at the 14.1 tourney. Maybe he had the big one in the trunk. Don't know. I do know he was driving his mom's car. She told him if he scratched it, don't even come home. Disappear!!!!
