In bar table eight ball, do you deliberately miss shots?

I don't think what you are describing is "deliberately missing shots". You are playing safties... You are putting both the object ball and the cue ball in strategic positions to negatively affect the play of your opponent. That is a strategy often employed, especially on a bar box. An old...

    Cue auction for Ukraine🇺🇦**

You owe it to yourself to have Joe C build you a cue. I can not tell you enough how good these cues play... They always LOOK nice, but they REALLY play well... Extremely well balanced, solid hit. His kielwood shafts seem to have less deflection than the Predator 314-3 shaft that I normally...

    Cue auction for Ukraine🇺🇦**

These are really nice quality blanks. If you give them to a great cuemaker, you get a great cue. I just got back from playing 3 hours with the "Gambler" style cue that Joe Callaluca built for me. I think it is amazing and surreal for these guys to be doing this level of cuebuilding, while a...

New GTF 1x2 Cases ~ Last Remaining Stock As Of 12/1/23

I picked up one of the Fellini tan cases... my Southwest cue looks right at home in it. They are really nice cases, extremely well-made... And "Vinnie" is one of the best to deal with.

    Mike Sigel cue repair needed

I do not have any way to reach him, now. I was his dealer at least 15 years ago. He is on Facebook... He would probably respond to a question through there. All of the cues I got from him were signed and numbered. Yours is the only one I ever saw with the decal block letters.

    Caiden tip and product review

I am certain that Timothy Soong (timothysoong here on AZB) will respond to your questions. There is a 12 hour time difference between here and Taiwan, I believe. These are very good tips. Richard Hsu has gone to them exclusively on his Hsunami shafts....

    Caiden tip and product review

I want to thank timothysoong (www.caidenbrand.com) for the Caiden products that he sent me for review. I will do my best to go over the products together and individually, and give you my thoughts, good or bad, on each of the products, over the next few weeks. The first item I tried was the...

    Original by Palmer weightbolt change

I have worked on some cues over the years, but I have never screwed with an Original by Palmer butt sleeve before. I have a Model E which has a very heavy butt. Can I remove/change the bolt to lighten it? I know I would need to tape up the rings, etc, I just do not know how they are...
