Moving Table, Question about my 'new' slate

Hello, As i posted a couple weeks ago, I'm going to be moving my table to a new house. Once there, I plan to have a pro come and set it back up. When pulling off the cloth, I notice that there's a large spot at one of the seams with the slate that seems to be a patch job. For reference, I...

    Moving Diamond 9ft 3 piece

Thanks. It's a 9 ft table, 3 piece slate. You're right, it has the liquid dowel / bondo - not sure why I was thinking epoxy lol.

    Moving Diamond 9ft 3 piece

Hello, I'm moving and will need to disassemble my Diamond 3 piece slate to remove from a basement. While I'm not opposed to paying for it, there's frankly no one I'm aware of I would trust in my area to do so after I was dissatisfied with the initial install which was never made right. What...

havent played in three years almost four

Funny you post this. I quit playing for about 17 years. At the time, I was a fairly strong player (one of the strongest in the area, though not necessarily saying a lot). I bought a table and have been playing again for I guess 6-7 months. Without a doubt, I play better than I did before.

playing with my new Cuetec Cynergy 15k shaft

I bought one of these and got it today. I’ve been very skeptical of these shafts and have been using standard maple for along time. After about the first hour, it was an absolutely amazing difference to me. While it’s very possible this is placebo or I was simply having the best night of my...

Looking to replace my 15yr Aramith Premiums

I believe this is the set I received with my diamond table (cyclops). They seem fairly poor to me - both cue balls have chips in them and a few object balls as well after about 6 months. I’ve never broke a rack with them either.

    Diamond 9' Install

Hi, Not fixed yet. I will reach out to you on Monday if it isn’t rectified between now and then, as the installer has stated he would come by twice now. Since my post, the more I’ve played I’ve noticed a couple of other spots which I would think have to be from a very slight unlevel bondo...

    Diamond 9' Install

Thank you, I will reach out to them tomorrow to see about getting it addressed.. Yeah, I don't want to out anyone publicly - wasn't my intent to bash anyone, just wondering if I was being overly particular.

    Diamond 9' Install

Hi Trent, Yes, we did speak on the phone and you gave me a lot of valuable information, thank you. I called the diamond factory and ordered there - I told them I had been dealing with you, actually. From your experience is it pretty regular for this kind of thing to happen? I don't mean to...

    Diamond 9' Install

Hello, I recently had a 9' diamond pro am installed. Over the last couple of days, I've noticed there are what seems like two very small bumps under the cloth (presumably bondo or debris) and 2 slightly sunken areas (maybe slate screw holes that got bondo'd and shrunk). While these only...

    diamond pro-am or GC V

Thanks guys for the comments and advice. With those things in mind, I think I will go with the diamond pro am. Does anyone know of a local dealer in northern VA? The only place I’ve been able to find is manning cues, and the prices seem pretty good.

    diamond pro-am or GC V

Hi all, I’ve recently decided to purchase a 9’ Table and was initially thinking I would just buy a used GC 3 and save some cash. Reading threads here however, I’ve persuaded myself to go ahead and fork some more cash out for either a GC V or Diamond pro. Quality wise and durability - are...
