Pool’s unique – its pros come in *all* body types. Who were/are the tallest + shortest adult men pros, now or ever?

Right. There are more mechanical advantages to being a shorter player. I think tables are just way to low!

    Sigel and Strickland 14.1

I paid to attend Mike's 14.1 clinic years ago. The punch line is Mike shows up, talks about himself for an hour and calls it a night... 😂

    Sigel and Strickland 14.1

So I can't watch Sigel. Mike talks to much, it's unnerving. Shoooot the balllll already! I have seen it in person, not fun. On the other hand, I can't watch Earl play enough. He is just the right train wreck. Love it!

US Open 9-Ball -- info on early events?

Dave White was a good player also. I believe he lived behind Q Masters some time ago...

US Open 9-Ball -- info on early events?

Carry Dunn was still an active player not long ago. Hopefully he is still around, his brother Marty could play well also.

US Open 9-Ball -- info on early events?

Ray Trivette is probably a typo. "Roy" Trivett was the real players name. Red Hicks and Roy were arch rivals in Virginia. Roy was related to Seattle Sam...

Best player ever for the cash?

Jack Cooney would have to be on the list. He spent a lifetime successfully on the road. There is no greater money game pressure than that.

    Question for tournament players ❓

I will pass on the poor equipment. Otherwise C tables to A equipment is fine. I would also rather play on crappy big tables than good bar tables.

John Schmidt's and Corey Deuel's comments on aiming systems

I just cannot understand how CTE could be easier than just stepping into a shot line? I can line up, get down, close my eyes and make a shot. So my question would be how is doing all those steps, then sweeping be easier? Does CTE add an extra step to a pre-shot routine? If so is that easier...

John Schmidt's and Corey Deuel's comments on aiming systems

John I respectfully disagree. Question for you... Does Lee Brett need to pivot to improve? How about Shane? Or the English fellow closing his eyes on a Snooker table. Is he missing something? Stay thirsty my friend!! 😂

John Schmidt's and Corey Deuel's comments on aiming systems

I agree with the cue ball consistency. I am not name calling (whacked). Aiming systems can work, but why make things more complicated. Besides shot alignment, extending the bridge arm and locking the shooters head makes straight shots automatic. Adding English, power and speed control then add...

John Schmidt's and Corey Deuel's comments on aiming systems

So I can take your daughter and teach her to step into a shot line get down, close her eyes and make the shot. I am not saying CTE is bad (it looks well though out). I am just saying it's not needed to play well. Why make pool more complicated for beginners? Lee Brett will explain it's simple... .

John Schmidt's and Corey Deuel's comments on aiming systems

So I respect all the CTE people for putting in the work and R&D involved with their system. Aiming is tied to your pre-shot routine and alignment.. So as long as a player has the correct alignment and pre-shot routine they can be consistent. . So an aiming system might be something an advanced...

Will Ivory ever become undesirable for cues?

Ivory is almost worthless to me. I can't easily sell it or ship it. Plus Ivory is fragile compared to composite material. A pool cue is sports equipment (Ivory is the last material I would choose for a cue). I understand old timers still enjoying what they grew up with, but that ship has sailed.

Joe Porper Big Shaver Pool/Billiards Cue Stick Tip Tool Trimmer/Shaper vs. Willard Tipping Machine

I don't feel like posting pictures (someone else posted the prior picture). I promise you the blade in the picture works in the machine. I know it does not look like it, but trust me it does.
