I've seen plenty of Longhorn with horns that wide, but maybe not so massive. What I'm most doubtful of is the animal's turning it's head to exit the trailer as opposed to stubbornly ramming.

I'm thinking not. I expect a longhorn would become enraged and butt at the door as opposed to having the intelligence to tilt it's head and horns.
