    DigiCue Blue graph interpretation

Been using it for a few days. I like it. As some have said, would be nice to be able to delete false readings - I am getting a ton. Chalking, aiming, etc…ideally I would like to find a way to not have as many of them, but at the very least the ability to delete them from the history would be...

    Magic Rack Clip/Hook?

Watching the European Open this morning and noticed the referee hanging the rack below the rail on the table. Anyone know what sort of hook or clip they use? I’m assuming it’s not anything special and any random hook would work, but figured I’d ask here first before running to the store :)...

Installing Carom Table VS Pool Table

If someone is good at installing pool tables, are they likely to be able to do a good job with a carom table, or are there major differences they would need to take into account? I know nothing about setting tables up, so to me it seems most things would translate with the only difference being...

Should I Replace the Cloth On My Entire Table?

OK - thanks for the replies. I think I'll take your suggestions and just do the one rail (or all 6 if I have enough cloth for it). It does seem silly to throw away $1000 while my cloth is still in great shape except for that one rail. Cheers!

Should I Replace the Cloth On My Entire Table?

I have a couple of problems with my table: 1: There is a hole on one of the rails, and it's getting bigger. 2: One of the rails seems like it was not installed properly - it's raised up a few mm. I've been playing on it for a few years now, and don't notice that it changes the playability...

    Buying Diamonds at tournament's

Agreed. I love the GC look above all others. I know it's not a super popular opinion, but I also love the look of the Rasson Victory. Most Diamonds look very "meh" to me. Though I don't mind the look of the Professional.

    Buying Diamonds at tournament's

Maybe to you, but certainly not to everyone. I would say the looks of a table are not "irrelevant" to the vast majority of people who do buy a table. The importance of looks vs playability will certainly vary from one person to the next, but to categorically say the look of a table is...

    Buying Diamonds at tournament's

Yeah - I'm also in NB. In Moncton there are 0 snooker tables for the public to play on. In the province there might be a few. Also never saw a 7' around here. First time I ever saw one was at the BCA in Vegas. Thought they were kid's tables :)

    Buying Diamonds at tournament's

Not sure if it was tongue in cheek, but either way, I'm 100% there with you. My table is better and cleaner than any pool hall table around here, the lighting is better, music is definitely way better, and without question a better beer and whiskey selection. And it's all paid for. I haven't...

    Sick double jump

Did you watch the video? He lined up and pointed to exactly where the ball was going to bounce for the 2nd hop. The commentators knew what he was going to do...how could you doubt that was not exactly what he was trying to do? I mean if you can't say he "100% intended" to do that, what other...

    Diamond Ball Washer

Great guy to deal with. Bought a Littman light from him, and would have 0 hesitation to recommend him to anyone. However, still the case - a ball polisher will cost me what my table and all accessories cost me. Shipping is nuts to come here.

    Diamond Ball Washer

I love the look of the Diamond ball polisher, and by all accounts it's a top notch product - don't think I've seen a single bad review about it. But when I priced one out shipped to my home here in Canada, the total cost was going to be almost what I paid for my GCV knock off table, cue racks...

Pool room with a table time limit

Exactly. The policy is there. If I'm the room owner and you're just practicing and drinking tap water, well sorry, if I have a waiting list, after 2 hours, you gone. If you and 3 friends are having a feast and pounding them back, then yeah, that 2 hours can turn into 4 or more if you like.

J Flowers Aspirant Series Cue -- any thoughts?

My friend bought that exact one after trying mine. The wrap feels fantastic. The overlays look beautiful. And it plays great. I think you'll be happy with it.

Pool room with a table time limit

Um, yeah - kinda what I said in my post?

Pool room with a table time limit

We had that at a hall here in the mid 90s when pool was getting huge. 26 tables, and there was a waiting list every Thurs-Sat night. 2 hour limit. But the way the bartenders were told to manage it, was to tell everyone about the 2 hour limit, and if it was a single person or couple only playing...

J Flowers Aspirant Series Cue -- any thoughts?

Which jump cue do you have? The "power jump" or whatever? I kinda want it just to complete my set :) , but am struggling with the price - it's more than I paid for the player :) You feel it works as well or better than any others you've tried?

    Most beautiful cues out there?

To add the comments about how it is really a matter of taste - I know lots of people lust over Southwest cues, Balabushka, "Titleist conversions" and stuff like that - I think they are all fugly personally.

    Most beautiful cues out there?

LOL - bunch of pretty shitty answers in here. Of course it is subjective - he didn't ask for a definitive undisputable answer. Just what people like. Anyway, I like fancy ornate stuff. I got to see the Ronin by Jacoby at the SBE in 2018. To me, it's the most beautiful cue I have ever seen. All...

    Vegas question

I went right to the ACS link and there are in fact still rooms available to book in the block - from May 14-21, it is $85/night every night except the night of the 14th when it is $311. The following Saturday similarly jumps in price to $359...
