Sold Used Mezz EC-7 plus a very unique extra.

Hello all, This is my girlfriends Mezz EC-7 that she's been using for the past few years. The butt of the cue has a linen wrap and has the requisite dings in it for a used cue. The butt has no weight bolt in it and weighs 14.3 oz. Mezz United pin. The original shaft is 4 ounces. The carbon...

Which Variable Is the Cause of Most Missed Shots

I'm my humble opinion, focus and trying to unnecessarily create something that's just not there.

    Snooker table one pocket?

Just curious if anyone has ever played one pocket on a snooker table with snooker balls or pool balls? As a sidebar, has anyone ever seen a dedicated one pocket table that has only the two corner pockets? All other pockets are billiard-table-ish or maybe even more interesting rounded...

    Wavy vs ball thread

I agree with you. I'm my opinion at the end of the day all any pin really does is draw the two halves together.

    Wavy vs ball thread

Gentlemen.......another odd question for you all. Can anyone tell me the difference between a wavy pin/tap and a ball thread pin/tap? They seem to look the same to me. Is there a difference in pitch or diameters? I can't find any dimensions on the taps and the comparing the photos they look...

    Uni-Loc brass insert

I rarely come across a Mezz cue so I'd never seen that pin before. Wasn't sure if it was their version of some piloted "thing", a bastardized version of a Uni-Loc.

    Uni-Loc brass insert

I think you're right. Later in the day I found one if those with that name. Must be the same thing. Attached a photo. Is that Mezz United?

Thread mill to match Radial pin

Another dumb question.........what the heck is the thread pitch of that cutter? Is it 10TPI or......... I've rarely seen those ball pins so I don't know diameters or what pitch they are. I was going to reach out to a tool maker and see if he's got the capability to grind such a thing. Does...

    Uni-Loc brass insert

Hi Mike....... Well, the pin I tried was not the long thin one nor was it the bullet shaped one. Truthfully I didn't scrutinize it that closely but I will when I get home this evening. I believe it was similar to the middle photo....the Ghost. It had a much smaller registration flat than...

    Uni-Loc brass insert

An update. I tried to fit a mismatched QR pin into an older Uni-Loc insert. Obviously didn't work. Does anyone know where to get the original Uni-Loc inserts that are NOT QR?
