How about the one who created a system of life (other than most plants) that requires by killing and consuming other living forms for continued life? (Sorry, too heavy?)

    Johnny Archer vs. Savannah Easton

in his prime, Efren always seemed to be walking around the table at a leisurely “stroll” pace, so yes, he still is at that pace but he never really ran around the table much even when in the heat of competition. His relaxation at the table might have contributed to his success.

    3/8 by 10 pin

I bought a 5/16x18 CF shaft for my vintage Adam from my local custom cue maker. Last year I commissioned a custom butt from the same cue maker. The same CF shaft would barely screw onto the custom butt; it was extremely tight. He tapped the shaft joint and now it easily screws onto both...

Anyone clean their tips on the carpet before putting it back in the case?

The hall I play at (or at least did play at; they are in the process of moving, and it's taking forever) had signs that anyone caught cleaning chalk off their tip on the carpet would be subject to a $100 fine or a ban from the premises.

    Comprehensive list of drills?

I suppose you missed the part where the drill’s raison d’etre is described. Having a comprehensive list allows users of the list to search on a particular skill and then work on that skill.

    Comprehensive list of drills?

Understood. I was thinking that anyone could benefit using this as a resource by reviewing the “Why this drill” section of each and trying the suggested drill that matches the weakness to be addressed. If the collective doesn’t think this will be useful, well, then, never mind. 😄

    Comprehensive list of drills?

(Yes, I searched but got so many irrelevant hits it was fairly useless.) There are so many videos and books that suggest drills. Does anyone know of a comprehensive list of drills, a central place to go to work on specific topics? If not, perhaps we can start one here? What do you all think...

You can also replace “guns” with “cues”.

Seller shipped cue via USPS on the 13th, but it is seemingly still not in transit. Just shows Accepted by USPS.

I shipped some car parts via USPS from Florida to Texas. OK, I'll admit, the box was heavy. It went from FL to TX, then to OH (IIRC), then to northern FL, then TX, then tracked as lost. Attempts to find out its status went something like this: Call USPS, I am told I need to contact the post...

2025 AZ Billiards Straight Pool Challenge!

Tried some 14.1 last few days. Reference: FR426, TAP 5/5, APA 6/6. Got to 15 once today. Made the break ball, which was set up well, but didn’t end up with any easy shots. Ugh. Got to 14 a couple of times. One time had a nice break ball but rattled it (probably tried to juice the CB too...

    Forward weighted cue.

Well, then, I stand corrected. Thanks for the info.

    Forward weighted cue.

I don’t think anyone has a true forward weighted cue. But a cue can have a balance point an inch or two different from other cues, maybe closer to the joint (forward biased), maybe farther back (rear biased), relative to “most” cues.

    Forward weighted cue.

I had bought a joint weight because I have two vintage Adam cues: one with a plastic joint, the other metal. The balance point on the one with the plastic joint is 1.75” back from that of the metal joint. I tried the weight to see if I could get the balance points closer together between the...

    Forward weighted cue.

Purpose-built joint weights are available if you want to experiment See link below. The link is for 0.35 oz weight. I have one @ 0.5 oz (14g). EDIT: I don’t know why the link renders as “Robot or human” but it is a link to a product offered by Walmart. @Fitzz47, if you want it I will send you...

    Did I just witness History?

My fave Mario story is an interview when he described his first drive in a ground-effects car. He was testing, slowly adding speed. He said he got surprised when a high-speed turn had been rained on since his last lap. He said he turned in at previous speed, fully expecting to go off track...
