Really liked the way this Yellowheart and Bocote cue played. Kind of wished I had dressed it up a bit originally. So I sanded off the finish and added a few snakewood and mother of pearl inlays. Then dyed the handle to make it a little darker / match cue.

Maple from a pallet. Some left over scrap Cocobolo. Deer antler ferrule.

Just a simple break cue. Macassar Ebony and Cocobolo.

This is my experience, yours may vary. I have made three torrified curly maple shafts so far. 2 still are fine. One broke during normal play. No abuse, was never dropped, & was never used for breaking.
