    Pros and Cons Gambling

I agree with Bob that there is a difference between the pool player who gambles and the gambler who plays pool. I've seen the difference and I've seen the transition for player to gambler and it can be ugly. A big thing for pool is the mainstream perception. I was asked by some friends why the...

    Another chicken shit “foul”

I know golfers make a far better living than pool players (and perhaps that is the deciding factor for many) but speaking strictly about rules and their enforcement and impact for comparison... https://www.espn.com/espn/cheat/columns/story?columnist=sobel_jason&id=2967185

I know sometimes wordy isn't a good thing but on other occasions, the "bullet point only" method doesn't work either. I do prefer them formatted correctly as well, but I will still...

Diamond tables add in top banner

I had a similar issue a couple of years ago of a photo I had taken of a player (no chance for any money) and I just told the promoter that they needed to acknowledge my credit and to not modify it if they wanted to use it. It worked out...

Matchroom Major event -Hanoi Open (10-15 October),Vietnam, Winner $30K

I don't know if forced is the right word, but I think in terms of trying to make Team USA, then I think he had to play in this event to have a chance.

If you could no longer physically play pool...

I believe I would. I took almost three decades off from playing and I still bought the magazines and books, and watched matches whenever they were on TV. I attended some live tournaments and bought a lot tapes off Pat Fleming lol.
