I appreciate the engineering that was used under the hood of the GC7 however the ball return end look absolutely crap. The GC4 and GC5 were gorgeous looking tables.😁

Wow, amazing looking table. They look awesome in white. Did you have any issues cutting out the badge insert as I had to make a JIG to do that. Also what did you use as rail sights. I enjoyed your pics !!!

    Brunswick pool table identification required

The phillips head screws is common in Australia. The Robertson screws are kind of unique here. So I've come to the conclusion that this GC1 was made in Canada hence why it is slightly different to the other GC's I've worked on .😀😀😀

Yes the aprons bolt to the figure 8. I'm going to change them out to the regular skirt blocks as used in the later gold crowns.

    Gold Crown V restore

I trimmed off the rubber using a flap disc. It did a really nice job on those rubbers. 3mm Shore A60 Simonis 860. Colour is Slate. There were lots of gray colours out there but they were too light. I wanted a colour simular to Charcoal. Buffing up the alloy trims To remove the...

    Gold Crown V restore

The Formica floating on top of the dowels. I've learnt to always over cut the Formica then simply trim the Formica to the rails. The Formica gets trimmed off using 80 grit stuck to a piece of alloy. That angle at the end of the alloy allows me to go get in nice and close. I would have thought...

    Gold Crown V restore

Formica gets removed easily using a heat gun Someone has left writing under the Formica. I have no idea what it says. Rails get completely stripped I made up a template for the rail sights. So when the Formica is installed I know exactly where the sights should be. Formica getting cut...

    Gold Crown V restore

While I'm here I block down all of the skirt corners The underside ot the skirts get finished off. I wasn't real happy with the finish of these so later on I redid them. Skirts get the Brunswick logo's applied. I get these reproduced at the local sign writers. Removing the original...
