    Darren Appleton

posting something like that isn't putting your foot in your mouth, it's a lifelong character flaw. I'm not mad at anyone. No one's going to learn anything if the majority of people think the decision process of what he did was just a mistake and lots of others would have done the same thing.

    Darren Appleton

It's definitely not all good. It makes me a little nauseated that so many people on this thread are giving him a pass. It's just stupidity that Kris doesn't realize that there are no spectators, no referee and Darren is racking for himself in a world championship. And the fact that so blatant a...

    New Trick Shot VIDEO

I really liked that one. Your stroke and masse timing shots are my favorites. Very cool!

Jesse Allred, is a super player with one hand or two!

pink robed hustler hey Lock N Load, I dared my friend to go to the pool hall wearing my wife's robe. He chickened out at the last minute and I ended up wearing it while I played pool. The ultimate hustler's accessory.

Buddy Hall gave up more weight than anyone! 1-9, the break, and the first shot!

dang, I think I ignored that first shot bit because it was so insane I couldn't even see it. That makes all the difference in the world. If the player doesn't know how to take advantage of it with the right break Buddy might still win 1 out of 5 sets...wow, crazy.

Buddy Hall gave up more weight than anyone! 1-9, the break, and the first shot!

I don't think it has anything to do with how the other player plays. On a tough table a guy might not be making a ball on the break more than 1 in 3. Out of the breaks he does have a shot he's only going to make that first ball half the time(or some number). If they don't count on the break...

Best Player in state - simplified and on track

Oregon Zimmerman won't play me with 9-7 in onepocket and I offered him the 8 recently and he wouldn't play, he only plays on bar tables the last few years. Anyone who wants to be the best in Oregon better come play me first. I'll send you limping back home to Portland.

    One pocket ruling...

With all due respect, huh. Can we please get rid of that silly opening statement. You're a legend, I'm going to listen to whatever you say and I sure don't deserve your respect. I'm a 30 year old kid who likes to gamble and brag and tell the truth, no matter what people think about it. I...

    One pocket ruling...

all this respectfulness and trying not to offend people on here grates on my nerves a little. Just tell the truth about how you feel and if we all disagree don't worry about how someone is going to feel about your opinion. I'm an adult and if I feel offended by something you say I deserve to be...

    One pocket ruling...

how about ALWAYS waived. In all the years of playing one pocket for money, from thousand dollar sets to hundred a game against Ronnie Allen and anyone else you can name I have NEVER ran across anyone who wanted to play three fouls. The rule is only meant to speed the game up for tournaments and...

    Van Boening's Break

Ok, we'll just ignore what we're seeing with our eyes; the cueball coming forward several inches to several feet after landing every single time that he's not able to stick it. When it comes to the back rail it's because it gets kissed by an OB. If you're just talking generally then you would...

    One pocket ruling...

In a tournament it's loss of game. I've never played a money game where it was, we always took as many fouls as we wanted.

    Van Boening's Break

he's actually putting follow on the ball. if it had draw the ball would go to the back rail.

Proposition for those interested in BHE...

the pool hall owner did say "I can beat anyone wearing a pink robe." haha I was going to see if I got more action wearing it than normal and wear it to the pool hall for a week, but it's pretty hot shooting pool in a robe, not sure how long I would last.

good luck with your website. Those naysayers are going to find something else to say even with you showing that you're not adjusting. Some people just like to disagree. your thread looked like it might stir something up. I just thought I should mention don't bother trying to get some people to...

Proposition for those interested in BHE...

seems like a lot of effort to prove that an aiming system works to others. I used to drive myself insane trying to convince people to change what they were doing wrong, now I realize the only sane thing to do is not care what they think. In fact I went down to the poolhall two days ago in my...

    Best One-Handed Players

I hold the cue a little behind where it would balance on your finger, so it's weighted slightly forward. The end shaking can be stopped by using your shoulder and arm locked as much as possible as one unit to swing your cue through the shot instead of using your arm muscles like with a regular...
