In an interesting sidelight to Jackpots’ experience with College I offer up my own experience.
I was at OU studying Architecture and the summer before my second year I took off hustling pool around the US.
When I returned to register for the next year I asked my consular what kind of a salary...
I remember when I was playing TJ Parker in his room and he got angry at me for some smart ass remark. He slapped me and knocked me under the table. He was a Monster.
I stayed there a few minutes with a cut lip and finally
got up and said: "Whose break is it?"
Went to the Hospital afterwards...
I grew up in a pool room with several people just like Trump. I think I know just what he is.
Nothing but a Con man.
If it looks like an Ass, acts likes an Ass and talks like an Ass?
Draw your own conclusions.

Tom,
I would suggest the Cyclop in the traditional colors. They play great.
I have a set and when I take it to the Pool room no one complains.
With my other sets there is always some comment.

Michael was generous in sharing what he was going through.
Cancer is not something that you really want the World to know about.
He showed great courage in sharing it with all of us.
He will be greatly missed.
Bill Stroud
Glen,
I have tried to explain to Trent how much difference the cloth makes.
TrentFromToledo just doesn't seem to want any info from people with more Pool ability and experience so I just gave up.
Bill Stroud
Tom,
I will be happy to engrave your cue.
However I will need to order a graver as I gave all my small tools away.
Email me at bill@josswest.net and I will let you know when I receive the graver.

When I was playing at the Cotton Bowling Palace I was possible the best player there.
Many times when practicing I would notice a very pretty girl walking to and from the office along the side of the bowling lanes. She worker for Curtis Sanford the owner? manager. She was 16 at the time.

I first met Cokes in Johnson City. He was always in action as was Fatty.
Cokes also staked other players including Lassiter. We never played in JC.
A couple years later in the Summer ( I worked inAspen in the Winter) I was in Illinois and decided to drive to Evansville to try to play Cokes some...
Truman was a great bank pool player.
Even he would admit Taylor was the best.
You would have to travel with him as I did to really understand how well he banked.
He showed me a proposition shot that he bet on that I tried many times.
Put a ball on the second diamond at the balk line and bank...
Michael,
It can happen. I am living proof.
Every time I go to my oncologist at Mayo and the UNM they are amazed that I am still alive and back to normal.
Be one of the 2%.
Best wishes,
Bill Stroud
Dean,
You are right as is usually the case.
TrentfromToledo said it best: "I am not a good player."
He should have stuck with that instead of preaching about tight pockets.
How would he know?

Billy I is a Prince and has done more for the game than most.
I have not played for the last year but thinking about Billy make me want to start playin again. I doesn't take me long to get back in stroke.
Bill Stroud
Dean,
As you know I spent a lot of time around Ty. I learned a lot talking with him and watching him work on suckers. He was a master.
Speaking of money: I remember walking into the Cotton Palace with a $10,000.00 bill, a $5000.00 bill and numerous $1000.00 and $500.00 bills in my pocket.
Had...
