I personally liked SMS better but I would buy used copies of both. You can generally resale them for what you paid for them.

If you are going to play with a low deflection shaft, it's hard to beat getting a custom schmelke built.

It's hard to say in 9 ball after only 2 sets. Obviously from the scores, it looks like the weight needs to be adjusted but if the guy is just dogging balls at the end of the rack, then he just needs to play better.

Short Rail Bank- being able to play it pocket speed or feel comfortable firing it in to get shape. Cross Bank on short rail. 2 rail bank. I definitely don't consider the three railer that necessary. I mean it's good to be able to hit close but I definitely wouldn't consider it top 3.

I struggle with the two rail bank where the ball is by my opponent's pocket and I'm trying to hit two rails back to my pocket. Generally is it better to hit this shot with inside or outside English?

It really depends on your area. I find the cue market is extremely low all over. Not sure what something like that goes for but I've bought a couple of his regular sneakies for $300 area.
