You’re looking at it very one sided. Everyone’s expenses are different, Schmelke offers more than just cues so maybe they don’t need to make as much on cues. Think about how much $$ you need to make in a year, then what the expenses are. How many cues at what price to make a living? I can...
I was watching the Morra, Yapp match from Vegas(I think). Yapp jumped over a ball(object ball was 7 feet away and drew the cue ball back 7.5 feet to get shape. I know there’s a lot of skill involved in that but what jump tips are out there that can do that?
3 in the short corner, 4 in the long corner by the 8, 5 in the long corner . Those are pretty close to stop shots as the give natural angles to the next balls. After that, all balls get pocketed in the closest pocket.
Can you turn the shaft about a quarter turn to the left and post another pic? Something doesn’t look right on the white ferrule. The tip is also inside of the vault plate where it looks dented.
I’m not sure that a dull blade would cause this. If you look closely at the right side of the tip you can see that it looks like it was dented from the side. Maybe whatever happened there happened on the other side and caused the damage. I’m at a loss though…
All you have to do is think of it in reverse. How much $$ does x cuemaker need to earn a year to make a living? Personally, I wouldn’t do it for less than $120k How many cues can I make a year to earn that? Now add in overhead and I’d say I need to sell at least $200k to get there. That...
I’m not sure if this is meant to be sarcastic but the information is sound. There is no industry standard , only what works for you. The longest I’ve taken between passes is about 8 years, the shortest about 3 months. I’m in no hurry and I don’t do much volume.
