    Interesting 8 ball rule question

In general BIH rule sets:: the disruption of anything on the table in placing CB under BIH rules results in a {Foul, BIH back to you}. Don't know about TAP.

    8 ball last pocket

1-15 is the best 8-ball game. The little change so that you have to make your 1 (or 15) in your side pocket about doubles the complexity of the game.

    Pro Pool Payroll in Perspective

If you truly enjoy what you are doing--it is not proper to call it work. I spent my 40 year career doing things I would have done even if they did not pay me to do it. Excepting for life-guarding HS and College summer breaks, I have not worked a day in my life.

    Break Tip vs Jump Tip

I have a Lucasi jump stick with phenolic tip. I can jump draw and jump follow (and jump swerve--which seldom does me any good)

    Basic kicking question

Agreed: jump is the answer for this scenario. The 8 and 3 block the right lower long rail The 3 and 7 block the left top long rail The 2 blocks the right short rail

What is your favorite tip to use with a CF shaft, and what hardness do you choose for the tip?

I like hard tips, myself. But let me qualify:: I like tips between 82 and 85 on the durometer for the play cues, and 93+ for break cue, phenolic on the jump cue.

    Is there FargoRate rating inflation?

I do not know the "math" behind Fargo rates:: But, let us postulate 16 players with Fargo Rate of exactly 800 each with exactly 1000 Fargo rate qualified matches each, and these are the only players in "joe random tournament". After the tournament, what would be the resulting Fargo Rates ??

Back to Back 147 runs, and in a qualifying tournament!

If 9-ball took 36 consecutive pots per rack it might be as popular as snooker.

    Pro Equipment

    The "pro setup" has the property that you can replace it at a few moments notice--unlike that of a custom cue where you wait years between order and delivery. {{Just like a race car that gets totaled--just pull another one out from the truck}}

Does anyone here know of any cue repair guys in Austin, San Marcos, or San Antonio TX?

What kind of repair are you in need of ??

    2025 Southwest Cues

Where did you find the time to do the other 99 steps on those first 8 cues ?? And each step takes 1 hour and there are 100 steps so, at best, each cue takes 100 hours or 1 cue per 4 days.
  19. M

    2025 Southwest Cues

No, your math only works if there is only 1 step in the process. In reality, there might be 100 steps in the process, so one might get 0.08 cues done per day.
