Ivory Joint or NO Ivory Joint??

If you're not going to sell it in the future, does it really matter if it makes it worth more to someone else? If you want an ivory joint then by all means put it on your new cue. If there's a ban on anything the prices on the black market will go up, but you aren't going to sell it right? As...

    rauenzahn cues

With the exception of the tip, none of the things you have mentioned should impact your game. I have several 1 of 1 cues I have commissioned over the years. My advice is simple buy what you want. Get the look the feel and playability you desire.

    Predator vs Custom cue?

NAPA Nationals - No Diamond Tables

One might infer that you fear you can't play your best game unless it's on a Diamond. :) I wasn't being condescending. I just thought you were blowing things a bit out of proportion with your post, but then again people ***** and moan about anything that doesn't suit them these days. I guess it...

NAPA Nationals - No Diamond Tables

So if I read your complaint correctly, you booked your reservation to play in a National Level tournament solely because they were going to have Diamond 7 ft tables? So, you don't want to test yourself against players from all over the country, you just want to travel across the country to play...

    sandbagging ?

Thou doth protest too much.....Stop worrying about other peoples handicaps and just beat them. It's difficult to compare handicaps in one league to another. There are often different players playing in other leagues and the handicap systems work differently. The best you can do is forget about...

do you play with your expensive cues or just collect them and play with mid range cue

    Chalk... Hate vs Love.....

I have been recently trying the Predator chalk. It coats very well and you wouldn't have to chalk after every shot but I do. It's a bit small for my hands and I wish it was wider. The 8 sides is good for gripping but again it's too small for me. It is slightly messy leaving lots of chalk marks...
