    Colorado Open Sept 13-25 2024

So Bergman beat Tom Cousins in the final. Cousins is the best English 8 ball player, so a good achievement from Bergman. Also well done to Tom on adjusting to the American table.

    2024 World 8 Ball Championship (2-8 Sep), New Zealand , Winner $75K

I must be the only person who prefers sets. It means more matches are closer. If a player is losing 8-0 then I turn off the TV. If a player loses the first 2 sets by 4-0, they still have a chance of winning.

    2024 World 8 Ball Championship (2-8 Sep), New Zealand , Winner $75K

I'm siding with the WPA. Matchroom are only interested in making money. The WPA is non-profit and want to promote pool all around the world.

    2024 World 8 Ball Championship (2-8 Sep), New Zealand , Winner $75K

Mike Panozzo said that Biado is playing because his sponsor is also sponsoring the tournament. His sponsor put pressure on the WPA not to ban Biado.

    2024 World 8 Ball Championship (2-8 Sep), New Zealand , Winner $75K

Oh dear! Clearly Filler was pressured by Matchroom to make that stupid statement.

    2024 World 8 Ball Championship (2-8 Sep), New Zealand , Winner $75K

Would be pretty embarrassing for Matchroom if Filler and Ouschan play in this.

US Open (9 ball) 2024, August 19-24, Atlantic City

Real pool fans know 10-ball is the more skilled game. Fedor can enjoy his lucky rolls, Shane won the race to 120.

Bathroom breaks at the U.S. Open

It's a joke, momentum is an important part of pool and some players will be taking tactical breaks.

    A GREAT CONPIRACY THEORY

As far as I am aware, only Matchroom recognise Gorst as "American". As much as I love Fedor and he is an adopted son of the USA, he is Russian and nothing will ever change that. But I am happy for him to play for Team USA in the Mosconi as he does have an affinity with the US.

How did this become OK ?

It's trash and makes pool look like a low class sport. You don't see snooker players do it.

US Open (9 ball) 2024, August 19-24, Atlantic City

    SVB has really won. 130-129

US Open (9 ball) 2024, August 19-24, Atlantic City

As long as Shane doesn't scratch, he wins.

US Open (9 ball) 2024, August 19-24, Atlantic City

If anyone can win from here, it's SVB. He just needs to break as hard as he can. No point in dying wondering.

US Open (9 ball) 2024, August 19-24, Atlantic City

A race to 13 is too short. It should be a race to 30 or 40.

US Open (9 ball) 2024, August 19-24, Atlantic City

These pockets are a joke. Shots clearly being missed are still wobbling in.

US Open (9 ball) 2024, August 19-24, Atlantic City

Gorst is just too good for this current version of Niels.

US Open (9 ball) 2024, August 19-24, Atlantic City

A few minutes time. Glad to see Matchroom let Niels practise on the TV table before the game. Fedor has a huge advantage.

US Open (9 ball) 2024, August 19-24, Atlantic City

SVB had all of the luck in the last match. If he plays like this tomorrow vs Filler, he will lose.

US Open (9 ball) 2024, August 19-24, Atlantic City

SVB needs to fix his break. He is in danger here.
