I spoke with the gentleman on the phone yesterday. He's firm on the price. Makes me glad I bought the one I did. Better price and way closer to my house.

    Esoteric w/John Davis blank

My bad. I haven't spent a lot of time on AZ of late, and just now saw that Mike shut down the raffles. Since I believe St Jude is a worthy cause I'll continue this raffle on Facebook. If you're interested contact me, if not I'll not post in this thread again. Thanks

    Esoteric w/John Davis blank

Hey Folks, I'm going to raffle off an Esoteric cue that I designed and helped Rick build. We started with a John Davis blank 4pt cocobolo with 4 veneers (Titleist) into curly maple. The cue has a black leather wrap and alternating oval and razor inlays in the buttsleeve with 2 notched diamonds...

    Starrett Micrometers

@Pesco... Chances are, uh....no! There were only 69 real ZL-1's manufactured in 1969. There were a significantly greater amount of COPO's, but the all aluminum 427's were limited to 69.

    During out league...

It is common courtesy to acknowledge your opponent in whatever means you see fit, a nod, handshake, good luck or whatever. If not, you're asking for trouble. I have seen some real dirty, low down, under-handed crap pulled by pool players. So unless my opponent acknowledges the fact that the game...

    Rack Runner's Cue Design

Let me start by saying thank you to Rick for opening up his shop, and his willingness to teach me. I've been buying/selling/collecting cues since 1982. I've been fascinated with cue construction from day one. In my experience it's very hard to find a magician willing to teach you how to pull a...

***Take A Look...And Guess Who Made It? ***

So because I asked my buddy to take pictures for me and send them to me, you naturally think that's who made the cue? Is that what you're saying? Or from these 3 pictures posted you have ascertained that's the Cuemaker?

So, what is your "THE ONE" ?????????????????

Several "ones". 1) Runde-era Schon R-12, because it was my first custom cue. 2) 4pt Gus 4 window cue, just because it's a Gus. 3&4) Searings, 'nuff said. 5) SouthWest fancy cue. I'm sure I could name a few more, but I'm trying to refrain from jumping off the ledge of the Sears Tower.
