A really good place to keep an eye on though. I picked up a very very nice McDermott D19 for $150.00 about a year ago. Garage sales are pretty good too.

Exactly!!!! You learn usually when you first start playing how to aim by trial and error. Soon it becomes second nature for 90%+ of the shots you will shoot. Just as english and speed control become when talkng about cue ball shape. You may find those once in awhile that make you look twice at...

Alot of the Mcd Lucky cues are priced below 100.00 new. You can find some for less than 40.00 on ebay. The Star series is supposed to be better quality but are a little more expensive. Maybe someone can hook you up w/ a used one. But if not you may checkout ebay.

Remember the old gray, padded, fur lined Mcdermott Soft cases from the 80's & 90's??? There must be a million or two of these just laying around.

I love the use of "deescalate" in the story..... I guess they deescalated it alright

play smart..... break hard..... and jump only as a last resort... best tip I have for ya :)

I've played several.... but would have to say D. Medina and Jimmy Dawson are some of the best mentionables.
