I have Meucci that has gotten a chip in the finish on the wrap. I'm looking at redoing the finish on the butt section and want to leave the wrap unfinished. What is the best way (if possible) to take the finish down without doing too much damage to the wrap???

I would do the same but am concerned about warpage of the bar cue at least the ones around here don't last long.

The deflection in the cues is on thing I really notice. The meucci seems to bend alot and I can feel it even during touch shots.

More time at the table is needed too. I really want to get back to the level I was at 15 yrs ago. But that will take some time.... funny how marriage will ruin your game. I think I will have to get away from the meucci cue though the taper really does feel funny to me. My mcdermott is way...

I'm going to stop playing w the bar cues (and the meucci for awhile) and maybe see if using the Mcdermott makes a difference. I do think that maybe it is all in my mind and maybe a change to the cue I used to have the most confidence in will make a difference.

HAHAHAHA the comment about the meucci was pretty much what I was thinking lol... Maybe I just hate the feel of it.. I don't want to bash any brands here, but maybe thats the problem. It just feels funny to me and a bar cue feels more comfortable. Maybe it's the taper, not sure.... but way more...
