I can't say for sure regarding the cue for sale on this thread but I have seen non-Mezz "dual force" cues being sold in Singapore with just Dual Force marking without Mezz logo at substantially lower selling price than Mezz version.

It looks like we got the path of the cue ball thing figured out in the thread. Regarding number of balls moved, I have been playing with below rule: 1. move 1 ball - leave or replace without a foul 2. move 2 balls - leave or replace with one ball foul 3. move 3 or more balls - loss of game...

Thanks for the reply but my lathe, Cue Companion, is built by Unique Products Inc.(http://uniqueinc.com/cue_companion) and use a proprietary chuck design. It's a shot in the dark as large chuck for this lathe rarely come up in the market but I thought I give it a shot 'cause if it comes up...

I've had a few transactions with Billiard Warehouse and Greg and have positive experience. Feel bad to OP about his experience but Lambros Ultra shaft is a bit unusual deal as I don't think Greg carry the shaft in inventory. Instead, I think he orders it with ML when a customer orders one...
