Shooting while the racker is working

I'll shoot it just as quick, go ahead and put your stick on the table. No problem here. the shot is a formality. The shooter screwed up and the best chance is a tap in safe, I will call the shot, and shoot it, before my opponent gets out of the chair. me

how about a top 10 Don't do This Thread

Don't disrespect the shot. I am real good at this one. This particular screw up only happens if a person starts hitting it pretty good. The guy magically gets down to the last four, five balls and suddenly everything is in line and no more problems. He is making everything and thinks for some...

how about a top 10 Don't do This Thread

don't break clusters from behind without insurance. If your plan is to shoot one of the balls you just broke up... you plan for luck. luck isn't always good. steven

    Daily Run 3 Racks + 10' Table

Nice run, again. At the end... It looks like a bit more left spin than intended. There is no way your aim or stroke sent it that wide. I think a little extra care with the bridge always isn't bad advice. Are you sure you couldn't have reached over the side of the table for that one? I will go...

how about a top 10 Don't do This Thread

Don't forget to make the shot. this could happen while trying to break up clusters or bump something. All available thought is used trying to accomplish whatever mission you have for the cueball. A person can literally forget to make the shot. I know from experience it is possible to miss the...

how about a top 10 Don't do This Thread

I'll start. Don't get straight in on a shot under the rack by accident. It could be tough to get out of there. steven

    pool table speed guage

I measured my friends table a couple days ago. It now has 860, not the 760 I advertised. I forgot he had it redone. The table was set up by an actual pool table mechanic. Up table the balls rolled to the spot. 25 inches from the rail. Down table they rolled an extra 2 inches to the 23 mark...

    pool table speed guage

In response to Side Pockets felt too fast thread... I made a guage to measure the speed of the cloth. My cloth is 860, about 3-4 years old and hasn't been cleaned for at least 2 months. I am going to play on 760 tmrw that is very well maintained and will get you the numbers for comparison...

    Felt Too Fast? Watch Video

Just a little fast... After watching this video I took a second look at your 125 video. I didn't notice the speed the first time I saw it, but it is there for sure. I kinda think you have the perfect practice table. It is big, a good thing. and it is super fast. If a person can get a handle on...

    Setting Goals 14.1

I am starting to think about forgetting about any goal. A person is only going to run as many balls they are good enough to run. I might think something like, Today I will run sixty balls. Then it doesn't happen. what now? Your goal of running three racks is a good goal. And if you can do it...

Reflections on a life of Pool

Thanks for the stories. My dad took me to see Willie when I was maybe seven or eight. He ran some balls and then set up a few dead trickshots. He would have someone from the audience shoot the shot. the balls went in. "Don't ever tell a kid they can't do something" Thanksgivings our family...

very cool Chuck. A couple questions... Does the app work with an ipad? we have had one for maybe a year and a half and I just recently began checking it out. I love this thing. last week I deposited a check with it! it used to take me a week or two to get to the bank. Do you have to stop...
