This whole thing seems silly to me. The 16 man invitational tournament sounds like a cool event. Having said that IMHO the "US OPEN" part of the title should be removed because the name certainly seems to be misleading at best. With this new format there is nothing "OPEN" about this tournament...

The focus should be on increasing sponsorship money plus what the fans contribute to cover the cost of running the tournament. The players have no business paying the promoters, it's the promoter's responsibility to raise the money to run the tournament. Added money should be truly added money...

For playability I would go with the MEZZ. I have hit with several Mezz cues with the WD700 shaft and all I can say is WOW they hit the ball like a freight train...................

There is a lot more to SVB's game than just his break. Having said that, it is Shane's break that sets him apart from the other elite players.

This is partly what is missing in international Pool Events. I guy like SVB should be met at the airport by a hospitality Host from the event he is going to play in. The Host should have traveling arrangements made to the hotel along with information needed for suitable meals.

Ken, This Schon Unigue is a 1 of 1 that is what Schon Unique cues are. That does not mean that Schon does not have other cues of the same CNC pattern. If this Schon cue is the ONLY one made with this combination of materials then it is by definition a 1 of 1 cue "Schon Unigue"
