    CSI Invitational 10-Ball & 8-Ball Championships

This whole thing seems silly to me. The 16 man invitational tournament sounds like a cool event. Having said that IMHO the "US OPEN" part of the title should be removed because the name certainly seems to be misleading at best. With this new format there is nothing "OPEN" about this tournament...

    Jay Swanson Memorial Tournament (Question)

Mark I agree that CSI does a very good job of running the event. I think people have missed the point of this thread. (I'm sure that's my fault) I stated many times on this thread that I never wanted CSI or Hard Times to lose money on the tournament. My issue is I would love to see the...

    Jay Swanson Memorial Tournament (Question)

Once again just another person who is missing the whole point of this thread.......... It's the promoter's responsibility to RAISE the money to cover the cost of running the tournament. Be creative for a change hit the streets, make some calls, groom a few sponsors and of course have the fans...

    Jay Swanson Memorial Tournament (Question)

You are missing the whole point. I said several times that I don't expect CSI or Hard Times to do anything that cost them money. My point is that the player's entry fess is not the place for promoters or pool room owners to look for covering the cost of the tournament. How can you look someone...

    Jay Swanson Memorial Tournament (Question)

The focus should be on increasing sponsorship money plus what the fans contribute to cover the cost of running the tournament. The players have no business paying the promoters, it's the promoter's responsibility to raise the money to run the tournament. Added money should be truly added money...

Which Of These 2 Cues Would You Buy??

For playability I would go with the MEZZ. I have hit with several Mezz cues with the WD700 shaft and all I can say is WOW they hit the ball like a freight train...................

    Jay Swanson Memorial Tournament (Question)

Linen, leather, exotic or wrapless what do you prefer

I like Cork, Bison or genuine lizard belly. I tend to like the softer feeling leather wrap. The Predator Sort Grip on the BK "S" has a great feel to it also.

**SVB - wins both rotation events at Derby **

There is a lot more to SVB's game than just his break. Having said that, it is Shane's break that sets him apart from the other elite players.

**SVB - wins both rotation events at Derby **

This is partly what is missing in international Pool Events. I guy like SVB should be met at the airport by a hospitality Host from the event he is going to play in. The Host should have traveling arrangements made to the hotel along with information needed for suitable meals.

Why buy a custom cue over a factory made one?

If I were to go with a production cue I would get a Mezz Cue. I have hit with several of them using the WD700 shaft and I have to say I was VERY impressed with the Balance & Solid Hit the Mezz Cue produced. With buying a custom cue, Carmeli & Judd Fuller are really easy to deal with and you get...

Need your help to identify my Schon Unique!

Ken, This Schon Unigue is a 1 of 1 that is what Schon Unique cues are. That does not mean that Schon does not have other cues of the same CNC pattern. If this Schon cue is the ONLY one made with this combination of materials then it is by definition a 1 of 1 cue "Schon Unigue"
